What is The First Responder Discount for Enforcement?
Verizon’s discount for first responders applies to all productive duty, old as well as volunteer, first responders on the regional or state level, provided you meet the criteria for eligibility they’ve established.
If you’re eligible, you’ll get reduced account fees for various unlimited plans, and you can depend on the number of projects you’ve signed up for.
If you only have one phone on your account, you could receive 10% off; you’ll get $25 off for three or more phones. If you own 4 or greater phones, you’ll get a 20% discount.

Verizon has collection requirements that allow you to qualify as an initial responder. And If you fall into one of the categories above, you’ll qualify for the discount.
The reductions are now being offered for regional and state-wide first responders. This signifies:
- EMTs, firefighters, and EMS personnel
- Law Enforcement Officers are State Troopers, sheriff’s Deputies, and Local Police.
- Family members of first responders killed during action (KIA).
